Abstract
According to statistics of Thua Thien Hue Department Investment Fund, there are 113 active FDI projects in the province with a total registered capital of 3,831.21 million USD in 2021. However, the environment for attract foreign direct investment is not attractive, has not met expectations, has not supported investors and has not been able to become tools to promote and attract FDI of managers Regulations on foreign investment incentives and attraction are slow to be issued, and distinguish between domestic enterprises and foreign enterpises when formulating and promulgating investment support policies. The article focuses on analyzing the situation of improving the environment to attract foreign direct investment in Thua Thien Hue province in the period of 2015 - 2021, evaluating the achievements and limitations of the process of completing the FDI attraction environment. On that basis, proposing solutions to improve the environment to attract FDI in Thua Thien Hue in the future.
