Abstract
Quang Loi commune, Quang Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province is considered a destination with great potential to develop community tourism. Then, determining the factors affecting decisions to join in community tourism of local people in Quang Loi commune, Quang Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province plays an extremely important role. Based on a survey of 150 local people in Quang Loi commune, the study showed factors affecting local people's intention to participate in community tourism including (1) Personal factors ; (2) Attractiveness and image of the destination; (3) Influence of people around them; (4) Support from local authorities and businesses and (5) Awareness about the benefit of community-based tourism. Thereby, the study proposed some solutions to attract local people to participate in community tourism and develop community tourism in Quang Loi commune, Quang Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province in the future.
