Abstract
This paper uses the PSM propensity score analysis method to assess the impact of loans from the lending program in Chau Thanh district, Tra Vinh province. The results of the impact assessment show that ethnicity, the number of local meetings, assets and employment have an impact on women's ablility to access the program and the income of women participating in the program is higher than that of women participating in the program non-participating women ranged from 12,811,000/VND to 16,038,000 VND/year, based on a comparison between 74 women participating and 24 women not participating in the program. The results imply that participating in credit programs contributes to women's income enhancement. In order to improve the impact of the credit program on income, women participating in the program need to actively build a social capital network, and local government organizations should strengthen coordination to support access to information, training and education. creating, consulting, career guidance and preferential regimes for businesses participating in support.
