With the importance of human resource management in the context of fierce competition and the development of information technology, this paper investigates the impact of using biometric software on employee engagement. This paper focuses on four characteristics of biometric software: accuracy, time saving, user-friendly interface, and transparent data. The quantitative research method is employed. Survey data of 200 employees of Vitech Group and several companies using Vitech software are analyzed by SPSS AMOS 22.0. The results show that the use of biometric software has a positive impact on employee engagement under two aspects: emotional and ethical commitments. On the basis of the research results, this paper provides managerial implications for enterprises in applying information technology to human resource management.
