Abstract

The study clarifies the impact of digital capabilities on digital innovation of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam with digital orientation as a mediator. The research employed the quantitative research method through partial least squares structural equation model (PLS-SEM) to analyze 164 valid responses. Research results show that digital capabilities positively affect Vietnamese SMEs' digital innovation. In addition, digital orientation positively mediates the relationship between digital capabilities and digital innovation. Hence, the authors give theoretical practical implications for Vietnamese SMEs.
