That significantly impacts health, economic development, and creates better living conditions for the residents. Therefore, researching the factors influencing the sustainability of clean water supply systems is essential to enhance the quality of their management and operation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors affecting the sustainability level in managing and operating concentrated clean water supply systems, focusing on six key factors: Input water source, Capacity to meet demand, Human resources, Mechanisms and policies, Finance, and Environment. The study conducted surveys at 19 currently operational concentrated clean water supply systems in the rural areas of Tuyen Hoa district and then analyzed the data using Excel software. The results show that, overall, the sustainability level in managing and operating rural clean water supply systems in the area is relatively low. Among the six factors examined, none achieved a sustainable level. Based on the analysis results, the study proposes some policy recommendations to improve the sustainability-oriented management and operation of the system.
