Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of technological innovation on economic growth in ASEAN countries in the period 2000 - 2022 with data collected from the World Bank. Using the feasible generalized least squares (FGLS) estimation method with panel data, the research results show that high-tech exports and the number of scientific and technical articles published have a negative impact on economic growth in ASEAN countries during the study period. From the research results, the article suggests that to innovate in technology to stimulate economic growth, ASEAN countries need to focus more on developing human resources, building and implementing effective institutions. quality and promote the attraction of foreign direct investment.
